Is there any positive differentiation for SWA anymore?
(comment deleted)
I exclusively fly Southwest for my work trips between LA and SF several times a month. It's more chill and the flight credits don't expire. I hope they continue to allow flight credits without any cancellation fees. Otherwise I have no reason to fly Southwest exclusively anymore.
I fly ~20+ segments a year exclusively on SWA, and Elliot Management is slowly ruining the org for their profits.
In the email they just sent out, they say that flight credits will have 6-12 month expiry, and the “basic” fare (née wanna get away) will no longer allow changes.
No changes is a deal-breaker.
A few months ago I practically insta-regretted (like, "wait, why did I do that?") going with a travel card that doesn't play nicely with Southwest, but this was the only reason, so now I no longer have regrets. Thanks, Southwest!
