Weren’t they just trolling the journalist while answering ?
I remember seeing a woman holding a sign. And then the journalist was pushing her: “are you paid? Are you paid?”, and then she said yes but it sounded like provocation.
Maybe, but people are also just angry about being fired en masse and our President tanking our economy on purpose and calling boycotts illegal and saying protesting makes you a terrorist and our constantly failing government all the time, so whatever is right and wrong, I'd suggest people start securing their valuables. The root cause of the anger isn't going away any time soon it seems

Too many people looking to pass judgement over random things that don't mean whatever they imagine.
