Ask HN: Best 40" 16:9 TV for Use as a Monitor in 2025?

I’m looking for a 40” TV with a 16:9 aspect ratio that works well as a computer monitor to replace my current Samsung UN40KU6000 (2016). Ideally, it should have: • 8K or higher resolution • Low input lag • Good pixel density for text clarity • Proper chroma 4:4:4 support • Decent refresh rate (ideally 120Hz)

It seems that 8K TVs in this size range are quite limited compared to larger models. Does anyone have experience using a 40” TV as a daily monitor? Any recommendations for the best models in 2025?
