I always had my grievances with their lack of premium features that where catered towards ambitious cyclists that use their phone instead of a GPS though.
They could have had all my money of they would have had a customizable UI (or at least a bunch of skins to choose from).
So much data collected and no useful HUD. Just copying what Garmin etc have (e.g. audio indicators for next turns) would have made a big difference...

I think that's a very small target group. Most ambitious cyclists will use a dedicated bike computer rather than a smartphone. And rightfully so, if you ask me.
