Am I missing something, or wasn't it a foregone conclusion that they would call a snap election? I'm honestly wondering what the HN relevance is, not in a no-politics kind of way - but in a 'nothing novel/surprising here' kind of way.
Well, the Canada that results from this election will differ greatly depending on who wins. That might be relevant to tech people looking for alternatives to the US. Where to live/work strikes me as a pertinent topic.
