This might be one of the worst takes I’ve read. Each example was worse than the previous and I thought it would end up declared as satire. Maybe it was and I missed it?
It’s more because my knowledge of various needed tech sucks. I learn so much from the llm and it’s mistakes too when we discuss the current project.
I think this is just wishful thinking. The world is much more complicated and chaotic, so things like “just write better docs” don’t hold up. Especially in the unpaid roles that open source software relies on.

LLMs may be the only chance many people have at writing good docs, or creating those macros to parse one-offs.
