I understand it logically, that wealthy people live in information silos, but my mind can't get over the cognitive dissonance that almost everyone paying attention knew that a second Trump administration would bring tremendous chaos (because the first did) but somehow, I have to imagine a person who is very smart and capable in their area, and very able to consume and process large amounts of information thought:
"When tech people got involved in the government, they thought Trump was going to take more of a surgical approach and act less like a wrecking ball."
Like as a business leader, I imagine that having only two political parties puts you in a situation where you may have to make a voting decision based more on practicality than ideology, and that Democrats and Republicans support winners and losers that don't always match up with ideology. I can totally see how you would say, Trump is better for this particular industry because reasons, and that's why I'm going to support him, but the above is just delusional.
