Government defining Truth is about as Orwellian as it gets

I'm starting to find the hair on the back of my neck raising every time I hear the word "truth".

People who know about things, talk about things. People pushing crank ideas ratchet it up to metaphysics -- they talk about the abstraction of "truth" rather than subject their ideas to serious analysis.

And now the word "ideology" is getting the same treatment. Your thoughts are ideology -- mine are just truth.
