I found this waffle recipe online. It's by the same guy who wrote GoJS.
I've made them 6 times now. A few learnings:
- pure yolk vs with egg whites is a whole different creation. If want it to be "tastier," do pure egg yolk.
- if salted butter is used, still add salt
- it can rise overnight, but no need. Few hours will get you same result.
- freeze extras for toaster, but stack carefully
- don't have that many eggs? or flour? Just adjust the ratios!
The waffles are ABSOLUTELY delicious. I'll be honest I bought a waffle maker just to make them and it was totally worth it.
