Nothing intellectual to say, but this is not the future most Americans want. Privatized social credit system incoming?
There's nothing intellectual about this, it just sucks.
This American is all for banning facial recognition, with stiff penalties for the person in charge of any company or agency who breaks this ban. The US is not China and the government exists to serve and protect its citizens. At least in theory.
Ironic since the Chinese already banned facial recognition.
Compared to this, the governmental credit system of China seems to me a giant improvement, no?
There's a pretty big split between what Americans want and what the US government wants. Same for EU and European citizens.
When do we get to use this technology to ban CEOs?

The CEO sounds incredibly thin skinned.
With great power comes petty actions.
