That's poor phrasing with the double negative, but I think it means everything is affected.

Yeah, they got a status page up now, but initially it was everything was green for a good while ;).
Some status pages are suspected to only say it's down when management approves it.
That is what makes posts like "X is down" boring posts, contrary to the guidelines.

Could be database migrations?
At one point my store "does not exist". That's some poorly planned migration.
Possibly. There's nothing more scary than database migrations.

What you assume about your staging might not hold true for your production.

A company of this size would not plan for significant downtime like this for a simple database migration. And their would have been warnings.
