I also stopped using social media, and now I use RSS to read fun and smart things. It helps me learn more and waste less time.

but I have one question: What do you do if the website needs you to pay or doesn’t have an RSS? I use Pocket, but it’s not always easy.

I won't lie, I just don't interact with paid websites and stick to those that have RSS. But if I had to interact with a website that doesn't have RSS, I would just open it one or two times a week, save the articles I like as PDFs, and then read them later
