Facebook has been setting some pretty terrible precedents in terms of how far malicious behavior can go unchecked. And once again, nothing meaningful will happen: no real consequences, no structural change.

At worst(/best), they'll walk away with a slap on the wrist (a fine of hundreds of millions, if proven guilty), which is just the cost of doing business at that scale.
