First global pandemic treaty agreed– without the US (nature.com)

After the last pandemic, the lessons learnt were:

Don't trust the vested interests.

Don't trust big pharma to do anything but profit.

Don't trust the WHO to act in the interests of public health.

Medical journals and professionals can be bought.

What's the point of the treaty? To codify these failures so they happen again, every time?
