I really want to see the methodology used to measure performance.
He doesn't have one. It's pure BS.

However, I do think that in-office teams outperform remote teams in general. Not always. But more often than not.

Before covid, only the most capable, senior, proven, specialized people got to work remote full-time. During covid, everyone did. So of course remote work is overall less effective than in-office.

Can confirm. After going remote, my average work day went from ~6 hours to just 2 hours within a year.
