Figma sent a cease-and-desist letter to Lovable over the term 'Dev Mode' (techcrunch.com)

OK, so Figma has been the owner of the mark "Dev Mode" for about 5 months now https://tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=98045640&caseSearchType=U.... How come they've managed to register such a generic term these days.

Could someone file for a trademark cancellation on the basis of it being a generic term?

Not a good look for Figma.
