Ask HN: Animation Libraries for Education?

I have been thinking of new ways to create educational content.

I find the animation capabilities of Scratch to be quite nice as it supports sound and importing art. However, I would like to have some way to drive it like a library sort of like manim. Does anyone know of a more cartoon like animation library like Scratch that could be controlled by a library or api to create educational animations?
