Not only would no company buy it, hiring a replacement CEO means finding somebody who would be willing to take the blame for the subsequent stock-price collapse once the reality distortion field is shut off.

Tesla needs to content itself with being a domestic-only player for a few years. (That or being acquired and rebranded.)
