Editing multiple codebases with a single editor in Cursor

Does anyone else use Cursor to edit multiple codebases using a single editor, and if so how's your experience been? I've been using Cursor to open a director with both a frontend and backend project in it and work on them simultaneously. I've found the context can get lost when it switches between the projects though, and I have to be diligent in adding the files I want to edit to the context window.

Curious if anyone has been using Cursor like this, and if you've found success with it? I think codebase rules could be helpful here, I'll be experimenting with that more.
