Sysadmin-friendly deployment of Gunicorn in Debian for Django projects (chris-lamb.co.uk)

What is the advantage to this vs running under supervisord and gunicorn's django app?

I wonder if this approach supports separate virtualenvs for each gunicorn server? (Each with a custom set of packages.)
