MathWorks Experienced a Ransomware Attack (status.mathworks.com)

I don't use Matlab currently, but like many people trained in various engineering and mathy fields, I've used it a fair bit. It's maybe a bit old fashioned and clunky but an interesting language/experience, and still nicer than NumPy in some ways.

I've been seeing people talking about not being able to login at https://www.reddit.com/r/matlab/, seems like quite a problem!

Yeap this is indeed happening. I was trying to edit some old Matlab code and i wanted to download the latest version and voila i stumbled upon this:
