Robot is 3D-printed upside-down in one piece, then walks out of the printer (newatlas.com)

An uncanny reminder of the Universal Constructor in the first Deus Ex.

what really caught my eye is the 3d printer itself, took me a while to find the repo for it, so here it is: https://github.com/The-Soft-Robotics-Forum/flex-printer

The walk cycle is really cool, but it needs to be (manually) attached to compressed air. The video[1] saying it walks "autonomously out of the printer" is nowhere near the truth.
