'vibe coding' became the new DIY (ft.com)

I think it's pretty hard to say by any conventional definition that LLM-assisted work is DIY. I mean, sure, we all rest on the shoulders of the past in terms of knowledge and practice, but having an LLM write code for you truly can't be considered DIY.
