Come hack the auto industry at CarWoo - Product Manager (YCS09)

We're growing quickly. Too quickly, in fact, for our current team to handle...so we're looking looking for an awesome Product Manager to join us and help us scale things to the next level and continue taking the online auto industry by storm.

You'll join a great engineering and design team that's working hard to bring car-buying into the 21st century. The features you create will help turn the mostly terrible experience of buying a new car into a wonderful experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Work with Michael, Erik, Scott, Rimas, Tim, Andrew, Patrick, Jon, Rakesh, Derek, Todd, another guy named Tim to create a world class set of products. We may be getting a little bigger (9 engineers and 3 designers), but we are a close-knit team that works smart and gets a lot done.

Qualifications

- Be willing to take full ownership and responsibility

- Be incredibly persuasive. At CarWoo! you need to be convincing rather than commanding

- Be an engineer. We don’t expect you to code but we do expect you to enjoy getting into the technical aspects of what we’re building

- Be a risk taker

- Be humble

You get extra bonus points for:

- Ability to write complex SQL

- Experience with Rails development and everything that goes along with it (MVC,REST, relational database design/SQL)

- Experience with iOS development (Objective-C) or Android development

- Solid grasp on modern web application design using Javascript, HTML, CSS

- Experience with version control systems (we use Git/Github)

- Web service/API development (REST)

- Ability to play ping-pong skillfully and/or drive a go-kart furiously

- Knowing what your Erdos number is (or at the very least what it is without looking it upon Wikipedia)

- Being Canadian and having a sense of humor
