PlanGrid Part-Time Customer Support Journeyman

At PlanGrid, we are obsessive about supporting our users. To that end, we’re looking for a part-time support person to cover east coast hours (7am – 12pm EST M-F) so that our customers there never have to wait to get the help they need. We are headquartered in San Francisco, but have no preference where you are as long as you can cover the shift and are so cheerful that it hurts. Work in your home, work in your PJs, or work in our SF office (if you’re local), just never miss a chance to make our users happy with your great attitude. This position will have generous hourly compensation and is the perfect job to earn some good money while going to school, raising your kids, being addicted to Pinterest, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

-Know PlanGrid like the back of your hand

-Respond to customer inquiries via live help chat and email

-Listen and understand the customer’s needs and provide answers as well as proactive suggestions

-Escalating cases as appropriate with PlanGrid’s Operations Director before end of shift

-Communicate new features to customers and stay current on PlanGrid releases

-Logging cases with accurate information to provide a full record of each issue and resolution

Skills:

-Good listener

-Friendly, sympathetic, and have a positive attitude

-Excellent verbal and written skills

-Professional demeanor and ability to problem solve in difficult situations with poise

-Have technical service background supporting software, internet, or mobile apps a plus

-Familiarity with the construction industry and/or proficiency in second language a plus
