'Generali' sign atop insurer's skyscraper offices collapses in Milan (reuters.com)

What does the (35 degree, lol) heatwave have to do with the sign collapsing to be worth mentioning? They get more transparent every day indeed.

I found online the project page in the builder's portfolio; by looking at it from the street level I though it was a much simpler structure
