It is crazy to me that the game industry solved this 30+ years ago and we are just getting started on the web.
It’s wild how much energy we’ve wasted trying to fix a problem that shouldn’t even exist in the first place. Time to rethink how teams actually work together.
The article makes a strong case for eliminating handoff altogether, but how do we realistically bridge that gap in most teams today, especially with so much legacy tooling and siloed orgs? Agencies often have to deliver so quickly and to such tight budgets. How do we realistically take the time to invest in up-skilling our entire org on such a new concept in this industry? And how do we know it will be worth it?
