I would have thought most layoffs would have occurred a while ago when they announced they were abandoning the console market.

That AI shit is expensive.

And applying for thousands of H1Bs in the same breath.

Edit: As Microsoft announces 9,000 layoffs, they have 4712 applications for H1Bs so far in 2025.
