I am more familiar with the term "barbarism", but apparently "barbarity" is a word, too.
I prefer the former, but I can see the latter having use, for instance, in a future Mortal Kombat game: the referee goes "FINISH HIM", and the fighter launches a missile strike on a nearby hospital. "BARBARITY"
