Show HN: A custom ESP32-S3 board for battery powered WiFi enabled plant watering (github.com)
After a MicroCenter opened up nearby, I learned about the amazingly cheap and powerful ESP32 microcontroller family of chips. This led me down a deep rabbit hole of "can I make a custom PCBs for my projects to make them tiny and battery powered?"
This is my first attempt to design and assemble a PCB using KiCad. Complete with tasteful bevels, notches for zip ties, and USB-C battery recharging!
