I don't know. I think they realize how antihuman their efforts are. It's kindof hard to miss that message. Even on a small scale... look the comments that regularly appear on HN that defend genAI by overtly denigrating the value of humanity.
I think the tech CEOs don't care. They want to maximize power and profit, and will say anything they think will get people to go along with their program.
do link me to some of these comments, I'm interested in the defense. I usually see people being upset over AI, OR people posting pro-AI articles and ghosting or downvoting without engaging.
