Narrative Control and the new Furnaces of Orwell.

Note to Moderators - This is not a Dupe (in my opinion and I will respect your greater insight) from what I have seen published on this site so far. The subject of this article covers an important starting point for discussion; that of the power of narrative control, selective publication and control of access to information.

While the winners write the histories, their job is easier if the other narratives never existed.
The guardian always publishes articles critical of Israel. Never has articles critical of Hamas.

Lots of downvotes but no evidence I'm incorrect .... What does a person make of that ?

What did Hamas do recently? I haven't heard of what they did since Oct 7 2023.
From the article: “more than 180 Palestinian journalists were killed in 22 months of war, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists.”

This seems awfully intentional.

I remember reading that a majority of those "journalists" worked for hamas or were friendly towards hamas.

Aljazeera is hardly neutral on this conflict either.

Everything I have read points to that being propaganda, to try and excuse a genocide.

What is indisputable is that Israel has deliberately killed 10's of thousands of civilians, possibly 100's of thousands and has persecuted millions of Palestinians.

Care to share specifics on your Al Jazeera claims?

It's interesting how the BBC and other left media are reacting to the elimination of those Hamas members. When Ukrainians eleminate and assassinate Russian journalists there is little or no reaction, sometime some small celebrations. Mind you that Russian journalists act mostly as propagandists, while the one ones that Israel eliminated are members of Hamas military wing. In case of Gazan journalist Anus that Israel tore him up yesterday, there are videos of him jumping on the head of an Israeli murdered on Oct 7th.
Anas Al-Sharif conveniently ignored Gazans’ protests against Hamas throughout the war.
Repeatedly and deliberately misspelling his name suggests to me that there aren't any such videos.
The reality is no one knows what is propaganda and what is not.
How many of the Palestine journalists reported on Gazans’ protests against Hamas throughout the war?

Anas Al-Sharif conveniently ignored Gazans’ protests against Hamas throughout the war. Courage, apparently, applies only to reporting what Hamas wants the world to hear.

A journalist is murdered (deliberately, by the admission of the perpetrators) by an army that is carrying out a genocidal war against a civilian population, and this is your response? "But why didn't he report on XYZ?"
