Show HN: Physics from "I am": a recursive model that works? (github.com)

4 points by kristintynski ↗ HN
Over the past six weeks, I built FIRM (Fractal Identity & Recursive Mechanics)—a formal mathematical framework that starts from five axioms, including a “Recursive Identity” principle, to derive physical reality using category theory and recursion.

Here’s what it delivers without any empirical fitting or free parameters:

Creates the fine-structure constant (α⁻¹ ≈ 137.036), dark energy density (Ωₗ ≈ 0.684), Hubble constant (H₀ ≈ 67.4 km/s/Mpc), proton-to-electron mass ratio (mₚ/mₑ ≈ 1836.15), CMB temperature, and more.

Everything—from particle spectra and galaxy rotation curves to a CMB sky map—is derived ex nihilo via the “Grace Operator” acting on presheaf categories .

The entire framework is open-source and peer-review-ready:

Full derivations, CMB visualization tools, provenance chains from axioms to constants.

158‑page arXiv‑ready paper, code in Python + LaTeX, validation against Planck/DESI/Pantheon+ data.

Check out the repo, dive into the math, run the tests, poke holes—or join the conversation: :https://github.com/ktynski/FIRM-Fractal-Identity-Recursive-M...

I’m here for feedback—technical, philosophical, critical, or curious.

Lol.

Need a number? Slap a φ on it. Doesn't fit? Raise φ to a fractional power. Still not right? Multiply by π and add a "morphic resonance correction"

Still - you got me all the way to https://www.frac.tl/ - nice job!

Yet another woo woo physics github repository

I hope you are doing this for "virality". This is nonsense and if you believe any of this, seek help.
