Title should read:

Death Cab Video Taken Down From Youtube, Causing Embedded Youtube Video on Death Cab's Site to be Taken Down as Well

But that's not as sexy or concise. The RIAA and most big labels are such close minded bureaucrats, I wouldn't have been surprised either way.

This is especially short-sighted in light of the recent Monty Python sales spike...

Yeah so... not there anymore
The number of possibilities for new HN submissions just exploded: "Wired not writing about xyz", "NYT fails to document...", "Techcrunch not reporting..." and so on... (Wish I was a funny writer who could fill those sentences with stuff spontaneously).
funny writer who could fill in those sentences spontaneously

Worry less. This is the internet. People will laugh at anything here. Take five seconds (yes, right now) and do a Google image search on "Walrus Bucket" if you don't believe me.

"Funny" is a word that applies to instants in time, not people. The reality is closer to "spontaneous people often do/say/write funny things."

People will laugh at anything here.

Hey! That's not a fair example. "Walrus Bucket" is hilarious.
