U.S. Startup Plans to Beam Sunlight Using Space Mirrors (orbitaltoday.com)

Could this be the worst startup idea ever? Light pollution is bad at least for human health, animal behaviour and insect survival.

That was one of my favorite powerplants in SimCity 2000, except it converted the sunlight into microwave radiation, before beaming it down. One of the disasters that SimCity 2000 included was that the beam would miss and destroy nearby buildings.
