I know this is just an anecdote but I fly about six times per year Zurich->chicago and my trip this past Friday the plane was less than half full. I've never experienced that - it's usually full. Would be interesting if they start reducing flights - for example every day there's a united flight and a Swiss flight for this route that leave about thirty minutes apart. They are codeshare airlines and could just cut it down to one flight.
Considering that ICE has been subjecting visitor phones to search and has been detaining various tourists for dumb reasons instead of giving them a chance to rectify things, I am surprised that any tourists come to the US at all anymore. You shouldn't come to a country that doesn't want you here.
