I’ve noticed that while many open source projects power critical infrastructure, it’s still really hard for maintainers to find sustainable funding.

To help, I built what I believe is the most comprehensive database of open source grants, accelerators, and funding programs available today. It includes opportunities from global foundations, niche programs, and everything in between.

Database: http://bit.ly/4lXe4HG

This is a living resource, and I’d love feedback:

Are there funding opportunities I’ve missed?

What’s been your experience applying for grants as an OSS maintainer?

How do you think we can make OSS funding more sustainable?

While building this, I also realized that many funds require traction before applying. If you find the database useful, consider starring the Ivy repo on GitHub to help push this forward: https://github.com/Ivy-Interactive/Ivy-Framework

Curious to hear the community’s thoughts and experiences.
