Ask HN: How do handle burnout as a founder

Always wanted to build a startup, finally got funded a 2 years ago. Made all the mistakes one can make, hired incompetent friends, spent time on random growth hacks, built random products to get traffic to main product but never built the main product, never took a salary and a bunch more. After all this, we are finally did $100K last month but now I don't want to do this anymore. Feels like that I have done my job and now this org can stay alive without me.

Go on a Sabbatical, reassess in 3-4 months and see what you want to do from there... Let your brain reset for a bit.

There's a lot more to life than building startups. Since in your assessment you've done your job, why not take a long break? Review the past 2 years experiences and determine where your passion now lies. With experiences our priorities change. That is normal part of personal development.
