Ask HN: Could phones be quietened automatically on trains?
Dear HN, is there a technical reason why phone makers can't disable loudspeaker audio on phones automatically when it's clearly travelling by train? Or just lack of initiative and will? Almost every time I take a train (Europe) someone is streaming their social media adventure on full volume to everyone on the carriage. It's noise pollution and it's so obnoxious.
