Governor Newsom signs legislation cutting taxes on cannabis (gov.ca.gov)

This doesn't make sense without also lowering taxes on cigarettes. Are we every going to get a non-virtue-signalling California.

By that logic all taxes should be abolished to give a fair chance to honest businesses to compete against dishonest ones...
