Migrating from Google Maps to Apple Maps used to be a painful, manual process. I built GoToAppleMaps to solve that: a free tool to instantly convert your entire collection of Google Maps Saved Places (CSV or JSON) into organized Apple Maps Guides.
Key points:
No signup, 100% privacy: No accounts, no stored data — everything processes instantly, in one go.
Supports both CSV and JSON/Google Takeout: Works with all recent Google exports.
Batch conversion: Tested on files with thousands of places (my own 2,500+ import included).
Open to feedback: Would love bug reports, suggestions, or ideas for CLI/developer workflows.
Try it with your export and let me know if it makes switching easier!
You say above "Supports both CSV and JSON/Google Takeout".
This would be amazing, however, for whatever reason, I don't have the CSV export option, and the page doesn't seem to allow choosing JSON files and when I drop the JSON it tells me "Please select a CSV file."
