Saw it via this comment on a Rust-related HN thread that I was reading today.

Though of posting it because I liked the article, and also have used D for writing various small programs for fun.

I remember seeing D when it was new-ish and never getting around to trying it. This seems to do a pretty good job of selling it.

(I still actually actively like dynamic typing, though. Type inference is only capturing part of the value.)
