Each pushed machine code closer to humans or made software easy to build:Assembly → CC → Python/RubyManual memory mgmt → GCBare metal → VMs → Containers → KubernetesjQuery → React/Next.jsPHP+HTML → Web Frameworks like Rails/Django/ExpressOn-prem infra → AWS → ServerlessAnd now, we’re seeing AI builders on top of the app layer.Personally, I started with ChatGPT as “Google++”, then Claude Code → OpenAI Codex → and now I’m again trying Claude Sonnet 4.5.Not sure where this abstraction wave ends.
