This would be amazing for doing the first time import on a competitor's platform too. Nothing says you have to feed the downloaded archive into a GHES target.

They got tired of manually exporting data for GDPR requests? It took them a while...

Lies, there is no search query or visit logs in exported data, I do not believe that you aren't storing it, so compared to GDPR request this is useless.

Say what you want about Google, but Google Takeout is one of the few reasons I'm still using their services.

And it was created in 2011, when GDPR and other data export regulations didn't exist.
