When asked about why Framework was giving laptops to and re-tweeting various rightwingers, Framework managed to set their user forum on fire.
OPs posted link is starting me at page 34, post number 661 of a thread with 690 posts. It might make more sense to start at the top [0].

Even if you start at the top it's hard to follow. The problem is Framework sponsoring Hyprland and then a retweet of Omarchy, apparently two projects with bad guys behind them. To understand the problem with Hyprland, you have to follow a link [1] to a blog post by a software developr, that vaguely characterizes its Discord and Github as toxic. Which, I mean, fair, I think toxic communitiesgenuinely objectionable and worthy of criticism. But the whole thing is oblique references to things heard "through the grapevine", and vague references to interact with the community.

The blog author linked to at the top seems reasonable enough and I'm inclined on first pass to believe his characterization is sincere. But as a post to hn to tee up discussion it's a lot of context to wade through.

One of the greatest pleasures of being a toxic, racist, far right, neo Nazi, extremist, hater, bigot, Hitler supporter, capitalist, fascist, etc. is that I really do not care.

If you are a trans non-binary they/them I will use your software/hardware if I feel it is useful, if you are promoting a fourth Reich I will do the same. All this seething has to be exhausting.

The answer is also that of course framework is not some racist company. They are a SF start up.
