How can we expect companies to respect consumer rights when they only get a slap on the wrist for violating them?

Nothing. Filled out the form and heard nothing since.
I got no notification, just a deposit to the bank account I submitted
I got a payout today from BMO Bank to my Paypal account for $38
I didn’t find out about it until it was too late to throw my name in the hat.

$38 is an insult.
