I'm starting to feel tired of AI features that solve problems I don't have

Every app I use lately wants to be “AI-powered.” Email, notes, docs, even the terminal. Half of them just add autocomplete or “summarize” buttons that don’t actually make things faster — they just make the interface noisier.

It’s starting to feel like every product team is racing to check a marketing box instead of asking if the feature actually helps. I like AI when it feels invisible — when it quietly removes friction instead of trying to impress me.

Anyone else feeling the same fatigue? What’s an example of an AI feature that genuinely improved your workflow — not just added clutter?

I think it is just part of the learning curve.

You don't have to use those apps though. On my iPhone, email app doesn't have AI feature, so far. I don't use notes app so can't say, but i write Markdown anyway. Bash doesn't have AI integrated, either. I'd say just don't chase the most current apps and stick with the archaic ones.

I'm tired of all the cars with sun visors. I'm tall and the roof blocks the sun, I dont need them.

I'm with you. In addition to getting in the way (Google lens or whatever on android), the text autocorrect is getting worse.
