I am not seeing the predicted, "AI will actually create more jobs than it eliminates" thesis play out. Is it wise to be rushing into this "full speed ahead and damn Putin's nuclear powered torpedos"? And does Putin even need a new torpedo? We seem to be doing it to ourselves without outside intervention.
So this is Amazons first filing in a much broader layoff scheme. Giving us a hint into where the rest of the layoffs are likely to occur.
