AeroFS (YC S10) is Hiring iOS Engineers

AeroFS is solving fundamentally fun and hard problems in the system software space. Not only are we building a world class fully distributed and decentralized syncing and collaboration tool, we're also trying to redefine today's view of the "cloud".

Our team is small (there are about a dozen of us today) and we're growing quickly. Because AeroFS touches almost every layer in the technology stack, you will have the opportunity to work on both incredibly low-level and high-level problems. Because of the size of our team you will be "CEO" of whatever you create.

Responsibilities:

As a lead iOS Engineer you will have the opportunity to own and build out the AeroFS client for the mobile iOS (iPhone/iPad) platforms!

Skills & Requirements

=====================

We really, _really_, want you to have:

  - Expert knowledge of Objective-C, Cocoa, and iOS Frameworks
  - Experience developing high-quality production iOS Applications
  - B.S, M.S, or Ph.D., in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

Ideally, you should also have:

  - 2+ Years of experience in design and development of iOS mobile applications
  - Experience developing custom UI elements
  - Expert knowledge of objected-oriented programming
  - Strong knowledge of Operating System concepts
  - Familiarity with the UNIX working environment
