Show HN: StandbyBro – friends for rent (platonic companionship) (standbybro.com)

Japan has a whole “rental family / rental friend” industry and I’ve always wondered if there’s a version of that in US without being creepy or trip into the tinder realm.

Kind of silly idea but I wanted to show HN after launching in Seattle to a couple surprising requests.
